It is a known fact that sports have a distinctive quality of not discriminating based on cultural, linguistic, and social barriers, making it ideal for strategies of inclusion. The popularity of the sports and their related benefits, such as social, physical, and economic makes the sport the best tool to promote the inclusion and well-being of Persons with Disabilities. Through sports, Persons with Disabilities acquire skills, develop independence and become empowered to act as agents of change. Organizing sports events has been a regular part of our strategy to promote the inclusion and mainstreaming of persons with disabilities. Our donors have been our great supporters for the same. We have conducted ten inclusive sports events in the UT of Jammu & Kashmir since the beginning of our journey.
