Occupational therapy comprises practical and purposeful activities that enable people to live independent and functional lives. Occupational therapy aims to make a person capable of doing all his day-to-day tasks like work, self-care, etc by himself. Our occupational therapists' trained from reputed institutions possess thorough expertise and experience to treat Persons with Disabilities including children. They work with the community to augment their ability to connect with occupations they are expected to do or modify the occupation to better support their occupational engagement.
The occupational therapists' role essentially is to help enhance the independence of individuals by empowering them to overcome barriers thwarting them from doing the work that concerns them and be able to do activities of daily living (ADLs), because they are the basis of independent living.
The support given by Occupational Therapists can make a real difference giving individuals a renewed sense of purpose, opening new opportunities for them, and changing the way they feel about their future.
We have an accomplished team of occupational therapists rendering services to our beneficiaries both at the institutional and Community Based Rehabilitation level. In addition to this, we have a well equipped facility where children are trained and given the necessary therapy.
