Hope Centre has actively been advocating justice and inclusion of women and children for a long time in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir. We strongly advocate the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the mainstream and implementation of schemes based on justice and equity to enable such people to live life with respect and dignity. Hope Centre has been part of government’s initiative to address the violence against women. Hope Centre has been given the responsibility of running the “One Stop Centre” ( an OSC has been envisaged to facilitate access to an integrated range of services including medical, legal, and psychological support to women facing physical, sexual, emotional, psychological and economic abuse, irrespective of age, class, caste, education status, marital status, race and culture will be facilitated with support and redressal.) Hope Centre has up until now resolved more than a hundred cases of marital discord, sexual abuse, domestic violence etc.
