Apart from the Kashmir division, we have been running our rehabilitation programs in two districts of Jammu, namely Rajouri and Poonch.
The district of Rajouri is located close to the international border with Pakistan. Rajouri is among the districts of Jammu and Kashmir that have the highest number of people with disabilities. Hope Center boasts an accomplished team of therapists responsible for delivering services to our beneficiaries. The services offered include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and hearing, pain management, etc.
Prior to unrolling the rehabilitation program, a survey was conducted by the field team of Hope Center to identify people with disabilities. Additional data about the exact number of people with disabilities in the district was collected from the social welfare department to extend the benefit of free treatment to a large number of such people.
The rehabilitation programs aim to help people with disabilities reintegrate into the community and lead productive lives. They focus on improving physical, mental, and social well-being through specialized therapies and interventions. The main components of our programs include:
The goal is to bring people with disabilities into the mainstream and enable them to live fulfilling lives. Through our continuum of care, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the underprivileged people with disabilities in Rajouri district.

The center has registered 1050 beneficiaries who are receiving ongoing services.
So far, 502 aids and appliances have been donated, including 79 P&O devices.
There have been 25 prosthesis donations and 54 orthosis donations.
Caregiver training has been provided to 500 individuals.
Home modifications have been carried out 20 times.
Awareness camps have targeted 1859 people.
137 individuals have been trained in ASHA/Anganwadi programs.
