Hope Centre encourages school students and its beneficiaries especially young by providing them coaches and grounds to hone their skills. Though cricket and football is the most played sport in the valley, Badminton is played at school and college level a great deal.   Like other games, Badminton was a part of HCL Foundation’s “Sports for change” initiative. Again the teams had to go through preliminary selection processes. After getting selected for finals to be played at Nagpur, Maharashtra, the team put up a brilliant show in the finals but was unsuccessful in winning any prize. However, it was a nice exposure visit for the team.
