Digital Literacy Programmes

Digital Literacy is an ability to search, find, evaluate and compose clear information through typing, writing, tapping and by using other mediums (e.g, multimedia videos, video calling and messaging) on various digital platforms, which require a basic level of competency. The digital literacy generates new growth opportunities for economically weaker sections. By imparting digital skills to people, we are trying to bridge the knowledge gap and empowering them. For example, people get knowledge about welfare schemes of the government, developing market linkages for their products, learning about new livelihood opportunities and improving quality of life. The challenges in imparting training to people with disabilities are there. Lack of education is a barrier in imparting computer skills to potential targets and leveraging internet for knowledge and information about latest changes in government schemes.
